Responsible in working directly with customers from assigned accounts to provide information and take orders to meet customer’s needs.


  • Answers telephone, responds correctly to customer questions, and processes orders in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Serves as liaison between internal and external customers (including sales, plant management & engineering) as needed to resolve any issues related to orders.
  • Understand customer needs and requirements.
  • Expedites the processing of special orders to satisfy customer deadlines.
  • Collects and distributes new information about updated products, markets, procedures and/or management processes.
  • Remain flexible, open and positive when faced with challenging needs and customer demands.
  • Performs clerical work including any additional administrative duties as assigned.
  • Thrives in a quick sales cycle environment.
  • Effectively communicate and actively participate within a goal-orientated team environment.


  • Minimum H.S. diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years previous experience in customer service preferred
  • Strong phone presence and experience with high volumes of phone interaction
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle multi-line telephone system
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Proficient in MS word and excel
