    MI Windows and Doors (MI), a nationwide leading manufacturer of premium residential windows and sliding glass doors, has an immediate opening for a Market Intelligence Analyst at its Gratz, PA location. The Market Intelligence Analyst is responsible for developing a deep understanding of company and market conditions to guide short-term decision making and longer-term strategy. This position will collaborate and engage with MI’s leadership team and sales channels to develop and manage reports for sales, market share, and profitability, while creating processes and platforms that lead to objective market perspectives and actionable insights.

    Responsibilities

     

    • Analyze and report sales data and market trends by region, product, and customer
    • Work with company leadership to execute analysis that ensures Sales and P&L leadership
    • Ensure strategic and financial soundness and alignment for all recommendations
    • Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports for Sales and Marketing management
    • Interface with external agencies and data sources to maintain company and industry dashboards
    • Manage monthly KPI measurement and reporting for Sales and Marketing
    • Assist with annual and monthly budgeting and forecasting processes
    • Work with IT and Finance to maintain the integrity, quality, and accuracy of business data within ERP, CRM, and other company-owned or managed data systems
    • Support key business initiatives and strategic improvement plans
    • Create slides and presentations to support meetings and events
    • Provide consistent, organization-wide commentary on industry, competition, and market trends

     

     

    Qualifications

     

    •  Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related field is required
    • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Market, Data, or Business Analyst or equivalent experience in market intelligence or quantitative analysis
    • Hands-on experience developing sales/margin reports and generating dashboards for Sales, Marketing, and Finance
    • Utilize rigorous, fact-based analysis and ensure strategic and financial soundness for all recommendations
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g. array formulas, pivot tables), PowerPoint, and familiarity with reporting and Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Tableau and Power BI
    • Effectively interact with cross-functional teams
    • Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines
    • Ability to distill the "so what" from research findings and translate raw data into impactful business plans
    • Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and an ability to seek out thought-provoking insights
    • Flexibility to travel, up to 10% including overnight
