  • Overview

    Flower Mound, Texas

    To ensure the QA and Production teams are compliant of our QMS manual through identification of issues and resolution of problems by influencing the production team.

    Responsibilities

    • Leads by example with respect to our Vision, Common Purpose, and Quality Standards: Safety, Integrity, Efficiency, and Creativity
    • Provide leadership in the identification of issues
    • Influences the production team in the resolution of issues
    • Collaborates with TSM on products and plant-specific build process and installation
    • Partners with TSM to identify and prioritize improvements needed cross-functionally
    • Collaborates and participates in larger Quality improvement projects
    • Compare work to standard operating procedure
    • Identify non-conforming issues
    • Create reports from audit
    • Submit reports to management/supervisor
    • Monitor and complete QARs with partnership of TSM
    • Initiate and review CAPA’s as per our QMS
    • Review manuals, procedures, quality records, documents related to the Quality Management System
    • Update in-line inspection process lists
    • Lead external auditors (ALI, Quanex, etc.) during their audits
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Management, or related field and two to three years of front-line leadership in manufacturing setting, or a sufficient combination of education and experience to successfully perform the essential functions of the position
    • Must have knowledge of procedure being audited
    • Be able to analyze processes
    • Keep an open mind during audit
    • Appreciation for the operating system
    • Must be a good listener
    • Good problem-solving skills
    • Must be able to read and understand drawings/prints
    • High level of customer focus
    • Able to work with diverse groups
    • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writingAbility to work flexible hours in a dynamic manufacturing environment
    • Working knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
    • Ability to effectively lead, train, and motivate team members
