    Under the guidance of the Plant Manager, directs the activities of the Extrusion department in a safe and efficient manner for the desired quality and quantity of work.  


    • Directs team members with respect to production volume, cost, quality, and meeting production schedules and delivery dates.
    • Stimulates maximum efficiency and productivity of production workers.
    • Maintains adherence to c safety standards, company policies, , and good housekeeping practices.
    • Works with Team Lead to prepare shift schedule.
    • Assures that machinery, equipment, and facilities are properly maintained for efficient production.
    • Schedules overtime, as required.
    • Arranges to have appropriate production records prepared and maintained.
    • Maintains good team member relations and takes proper disciplinary measures when required.
    • Keeps records of departmental activities, as required.
    • Assures efficient and economical utilization of materials, improvement of methods, and elimination of wasteful practices within the department.
    • Establishes accountabilities and goals used for performance evaluation.
    • Performs other duties as required or directed.


    • Minimum of 5 years manufacturing/aluminum extrusion experience plus 5 years in a lead role required
    • Ability to read and interpret regulations and policies in accordance with Company guidelines.
    • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing, bilingual preferred (Spanish)
    • Ability to effectively enforce applicable regulations and policies.
    • Ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with other departments and customers.
    • Ability to work flexible hours depending upon the needs of the department.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel & Outlook
    • Familiar with E.P.I.C.S Software
